About Spice
I started working at George Marcus Salon when I was 17 years old. I was looking for a part-time job while I was a senior in high school. I had no idea when I was hired that this little job would determine the course of my career.
I immediately fell in love with the industry – the passion and talent in the stylists, the transformations in the clients, and the beauty in making people feel good about themselves. Trends, classics, color, style – the clients could get anything they wanted. There is something here for everyone.
I told George that I would buy his salon one day. He laughed and said, “When I’m ready to sell, I will call you first.”
Well the rest, as they say, is history. On July 29, 2011, my dream was realized. I bought George Marcus Salon and renamed it Spice.
I told George that I would buy his salon one day. He laughed and said, “When I’m ready to sell, I will call you first.”
I invite you to experience true customer service, some of the best talent in the business, and a real family feeling. We are here to make you look and feel your best. Continuing Education is a priority for all of us. Every stylist attends at least one out of salon class a year, and we have several in-salon classes every year as well. We study up and coming techniques and methods, and determine if they are worthwhile or just another passing beauty trend.
We use Redken color, including their new ammonia-free line called Chromatics.
We carry the following retail lines:
- Pureology
- It’s A 10!
- Sexy Hair
- American Crew
- Eufora, an all natural line
Please feel free to contact me any time for any reason. I want you to be happy with your experience here.
